RatnagiriChronicle.com is actually a dream come true for us. We've been thinking of contributing something to the soil where we born. And here it is. I, S. B. Jadhav, would like to introduce the people whose tireless efforts made this venture possible. I am a civil engineer by profession. This idea was actually born on a dinner table. We were having a discussion which eventually conceived this plan of giving an online avatar to this gifted place, called as Ratnagiri. Frankly, it was not a unique idea actually as there are few sites which give information about it. But what we thought of having here is to give our viewer all possible things under the same roof. Say tourist guide, say recipes, or say matrimonial (which we are planning to start soon), exclusively for natives of Ratnagiri. Many things we still have to achieve in this venture. I took chance to show my gratitude towards the people who took valuable efforts to make this website a reality.

Hi, I'm Shilpa. It feels so proud n wonderful to be a part of a venture which gives a chance to do something for the place where you are born. The satisfaction can not be expressed in words. Being a travel freak, I spend most of my holidays in the hunt of new travel destination around Ratnagiri. I am an HR by profession. So I get to meet lot of people as a part of my job. I came to know that many people still do not know about Ratnagiri. For them holidays mean going to Goa or Kashmir. That is one of the reasons why I liked the idea of promoting Ratnagiri as next holiday destination. This scenic beauty is remained untouched. So here I am with my little contribution.

Why I am a part of this dream project? Folks, cause I am a ‘Konkan Krazy’. I am in love with this place. The above recited lines express my feelings in a better way.
